last sunday was spent sipping cocktails and lazying by the pool at the ivy poolclub with friends, the weather wasn't exactly tropical but was still warm enough to dip my feet in the water and dance to the sounds of grandmaster flash.
this weekend i am on house arrest, as per myself. yes, i'm grounding myself.
i am going to start planning my next 12 months travelling and the fashion projects i am going to embark on. i am also thinking in enrolling in a tafe short course in photography - i want to learn more before i leave so i can take many amazing photographs for you all to see.
if you know of any photography courses in the inner city area, please let me know, would love to hear from people who have previously done it!

in sad news, a month or so ago my nan Betty passed away. when i went home i went through some old boxes of mine and found jewellry she gave me back in high school.
i thought it was so effing hideous back then, now i look at it and it's so perfect, it's to die for.
there was even a pair of Oroton clip-on earrings still in their case... they must be years old, antique or something. i love them dearly!
she also left me her sewing machine. she loved her fashion, sorry, her style. she worked for Myer when she was young in the menswear department - both sydney, melbourne and hobart.
anyway, i can't sew to save myself. but i have declared when my dad sends it to me i am going to learn so i can alter and make my own clothes. i draw design after design all day but never had the confidence to make anything! fingers crossed i can learn!
